Luxembourg, May 22, 2020. The idyllic seaside resort of Koper, Slovenia, will be playing host to the 2021 edition of #EuroBeachVolleyU18. An age group Beach Volleyball competition of this calibre will return to Koper after this coastal city played host to the U20 European Championship in 2004.

FIVB announces adaptation of Beach Volleyball Olympic qualification
Lausanne, Switzerland, May 13, 2020 – The FIVB today announced the adaptation of the Beach Volleyball Qualification System for the rescheduled Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 to 2021 following the approval of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board and the FIVB Board of Administration.

Dalhausser looking ahead to Olympics
Orlando, United States, May 6, 2020 – Phil Dalhausser knows a thing or two about beach volleyball at the Olympic Games. A gold medallist at the Beijing 2008 Games, the American blocker also competed at London 2012 and Rio 2016 and is currently aiming to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.

2021 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships rescheduled for June 2022
Lausanne, Switzerland, April 23, 2020 – The FIVB has announced that the 2021 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships have been rescheduled for June 2022 in Rome, Italy due to significant changes to the global sports calendar following the postponement of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 in light of the global coronavirus pandemic.

FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour events in Gstaad and Espinho cancelled
Lausanne, Switzerland, April 06, 2020 – In order to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the players, officials and fans during the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, a joint decision has been taken by the FIVB and the event organisers to cancel the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour 5-star event scheduled for 7-12 July in Gstaad, Switzerland, and the 4-star event scheduled to be held on 15-19 July in Espinho, Portugal.
